Subject: Newbie question
I've decided to take the Linux Leap. I gotta say, I'm scared stiff and
excited at the same time. I'm going to miss StarCraft, but I can deal. I
have a few questions about conversions.
!.) How can I convert my IE5 bookmarks to Linux Netscape?
2.) How can I convert my saved E-mail in outlook express to the e-mail
clients in Linux.
I bought Suse 7.0 and am slightly familiar with pine from college UNIX days.
Should I try to convert to plain text and just save them? Or can I integrate
them into my pine? Or is there a better E-mail client I should use for Linux
Also *any* other
first-time-using-Linux-scared-stupid-how-can-I-make-this-easier advice you
could give me would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to reply to my e-mail
instead of the group if need be. I'm anxious to change but am scared by
glibc's and all the other incredibly cryptic terms used in Linux.
Thanx in advance
Bryan
