Hi all,
I downloaded pcmcia_m.rpm and tried to install it as instructed ..
# rpm -hiv --force pcmcia_m.rpm
only to get the following error :
Failed dependencies :
libforms.so.0.88 is needed by pcmcia_m-3.16.13
tried modprobe libforms.so.0.88 / insmod ....without success...
what do i do next ?

Hi Corvin & other Susers
On Suse's FTP server under 6.4 i386 Patches and Bugfixes, I have found 2 packages......
pcmcia --- pcmcia 3.1.16 : Avoids the module toshibas --> works with Dlink DFE650 pcmcia_m -- pcmcia _m 3.1.16 : Avoids the m error on Toshibas --> works with DFE650
The Hardware database info for DFE650 says that its kernel enabled .
Should I use either rpm with my Compaq Armada E500 ?
Regards
Anurag

If it is, have fun! You have to recompile the kernel. See the Kernel HOW-TO and the PCMCIA-HOW-TO.
