I operate a Linux mail/web server (http://www.blu.org - Boston Linux and Unix) that provides services to several other user groups (mostly former Boston Computer Society groups). We have recently shut off our ftp and telnet access. Several of our user group webmasters are either Windows or Mac users. I would like to be able to provide some good advice to our Windows based webmasters as to which Windows SSH clients are decent (such as SecureCRT), and how they can transfer files. (At least one of them is going to install Linux this wee). I also do not want to require them to buy any software. The main issue is the transfer of files. The guys I am concerned about are really not all that computer literate. -- Jerry Feldman Contractor, eInfrastructure Partner Engineering 508-467-4315 http://www.testdrive.compaq.com/linux/ Compaq Computer Corp. 200 Forest Street MRO1-3/F1 Marlboro, Ma. 01752 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
