Will it accept the present partition scheme? I've got it the way *I* like it, and would rather not switch. ;-)
Yes, sure. You can keep your partitioning, if you like. Super..
Oh, one other quick question.. I was lucky enough to get the Cebit release while I was up there. Would it be possible to use it as the base install, and then install other packages from the 6.3 release? I tried it by updating 6.3 with the Cebit release, and didn't have much luck.
Yes, that should work.
Good. There are some very nice improvements on that release.
Oh, and for those of you that didn't get to Cebit, SuSE had one of the hottest booths going. One heck of a great show. I could have spent hours there.. Thanks Lenz and all the others.
I was not there this time :( Bummer. But it really was a huge booth. I was impressed when I saw the pictures. Illiad from UserFriendly was impressed as well :)
What??? They didn't let you go? Bummer isn't a strong enough word to describe missing it. I first went to the booth in the linux pavilion in hall 6. Small, but very nice folks.. I picked up lots of stickers.. ;-) Then I made my way down to Hall 3. What a shock!! I had seen the pictures on the site that showed how it was supposed to look. But this was amazing. And everyone was really friendly. I got to talk to one of the VMware guys about OS/2 support. He listened, and was very helpful as was everyone else there. I really enjoyed all the demonstrations that were going on. I'll bet I spent at least 3 or 4 hours just watching everything that was going on. and would have spent more time if I didn't have to work.. ;-) I also have heard rumours that Linux might have their own hall next year. Now that would be totally awesome.. ;-) Mike -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
