Hello I am having a problem connecting a SuSE6.3 486 to a SuSE6.3 server.
What happens is on bootup I see it send out a ping when setting up route. It sets it up fine along with eth0. After that I cannot ping out of the 486. I also cannot ping the 486 from the server. Server: 192.168.1.1 486: 192.168.1.3

The only thing I can think of is whether or not the network 'localnet' is specified correctly in /etc/networks. Otherwise I see no problems (from this stuff). If you do a 'route -n' then localnet should show up as 192.168.1.0 .
I can ping the ethernet card itself but that's all from the 486. All other machines on the network are working as advertised.

Anyone have an idea what is wrong?
The ethernet card is a ISA 3com 3c515-TX
