I've been trying to install 6.3 on my box at work, I get the same message (basically) but then it hangs, never to proceed further...box is a micron p2-300 w/ 2 scsi drives, 1 scsi cd, 1 ide zip drive...any suggestions? I took a quick look in the source and the printout means that the PCI IDE controller isn't 100% native PCI and so the interrupts can't be determined at that time, they are later of course. It looks like a work around for poor hardware design but I can't claim to be authoritative.
