Hello everyone (again), Here's some more keyboard problems, but not of the 'bugs' variety, more a misconfiguration. I often telnet or ssh in to a Unix server running SunOS (not sure what version). When I'm using telnet and drop back to command mode (using the escape sequence), any time I use the backspace key I get ^H instead, which I presume is the control code to escape. When I'm logged into the server the backspace key works fine. Except when I use the 'talk' program (with either ssh or telnet), in which case the backspace key again produces ^H. I also experience this behaviour when in command mode for smbmount and ftp. I take it this is a terminal configuration error? Hopefully not terminal for me ;-) (Sorry, bad joke). What do I have to change to get this working as expected? The delete key doesn't work either, by the way, it gives ^[[3~ . I would like to get this working in most of these situations if possible. Can anyone help?
