Hi everyone.
Having failed to get libjpeg.so.62 working I wrote to SeSE support asking them what to do when 'startx enlightenment' did not work after a 6.2 to 6.3 upgrade. Here is then reply
Type in the command
rpm -e libjpeg
That uninstalls it. Then you can install our version with YaST.
the rpm -e will not let me do it due to dependencies so I reistalled it using Yast. Still doesn't work. Does the rpm -e do something different to reinstalling from Yast?
It might do. I think if you also pass rpm the --nodeps option, it will force the uninstallation, and then you can reinstall with YaST.
