Hello openSUSE, I'm happy to share that openSUSE now has its own bugzilla frontend at http://bugzilla.opensuse.org No more battling through long lists of Novell and SUSE's products to find openSUSE when filing bugs, (assuming you leave the default settings on) this new frontend automatically filters the available products when filing bug to those relevant for openSUSE The details of what changed are best covered in Michael's post on the topic, here: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2014-09/msg00057.html I recommend any questions on the changes are sent as replies to that thread. For this mail thread, I have a single request Can some people please step up and update our wiki to reflect these changes? The most important page that needs changing is https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports Any URL reference to bugzilla.novell.com should be replaced with bugzilla.opensuse.org https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bug_reporting_FAQ is another page that needs to be updated to reflect the new changes - NEEDINFO is no longer a bug STATUS, but a flag, so that changes a bunch of stuff in the FAQ. Also, the change that has removed ASSIGNED and replaced it with 'CONFIRMED' and 'IN_PROGRESS' should probably be described There are also a bunch of old and outdated information on those two pages - I'd be quite happy for whoever steps up to be brutal and rip out anything they suspect is invalid or wrong - as long as the core information about the Bug workflow as described in Michaels recent email is there, I think that's a good place to start. Any takers? The wiki is always open for editing, but I figure given this huge change, we probably should get this important information fresh and ready, especially as we're preparing the release of 13.2 Regards, Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
