Hi All,
Google Code-in will come to an end in a few days. I would like to take the opportunity to ask feedback from people. We can discuss it from here. Personally for me, the questions that I had like to ask are this 1. How do you think Google Code-in helped us?
I have to say +1 to the other two Greek fellows (Stathis and Kostas). Spesifically, the Greek community had a lot of help with the translation tasks, both for the distribution and the wiki. We just now need to do a better review and that's all. I think the students here in Greece worked with great enthusiasm, and I think that translation tasks, surveys and educational use case videos was really a good choice for the target group age. It is a good idea to focus on this kind of tasks for the next GCI. It was a really good experience for us and me personally and I believe we might get to keep those contributors in the project.
2. Where are the areas we can try to improve and how can we improve?
I think the others covered me fully, I have nothing more to add here. I just want to say that especially I agree with Matt, we need a biiiig todo list like the one with the junior jobs in the wiki to use as a task pool even for the next GCI. Plus, openFATE is a good source of todos but I don't really think they are appropriate for that age target group.
A very special Thanks to Matt, Vincent, mentors and students who made this possible.
Many thanks to everybody that helped in any way in this effort. Eftstathios Agrapidis (efagra) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
