I strongly disagree with that,isn't that why forums exist? To help the
unexperienced user?
Fora are there because some people prefer that style of interface. For
some reason it does appear to be particularly attractive to less
experienced users.
I think what Kostas is talking about is not "fora" like the openSUSE
