Greetings Marketing team! I want to encourage everyone to do one simple thing (and many of you are probably already doing this) to help your fellow openSUSE users out - and those that are maybe not yet involved in the openSUSE community. The way I'm doing it, and I think this can be a good, easy, and quick thing that we can all do, is using your Twitter client of choice (I use Gwibber and Tweetie for my phone), set up a search for "openSUSE". Then check on it even just once a day. If a person mentions they're trying out openSUSE, welcome and thank them. Give them important links, like to the Communicate page for support, or our own Twitter account (@openSUSE). If someone has a question, help them out. Even just pointing them to the forums or IRC rooms can help. If someone says they're uninstalling openSUSE, still thank them for trying us out and wish them luck on whatever OS they choose. The goal isn't to 'spread openSUSE' (aka don't spam Twitter, though getting into the Trending Topics would be nice, though we'd have to beat AT&T, iPhone, and Michael Jackson. It could happen ;-) ), but instead to give people the impression that the openSUSE Community is inviting, caring, and all around awesome ;-) -- Kevin "Yeaux" Dupuy openSUSE Project Member Sent from Kevin Yeaux's mobile device. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
