: Hi,
can we get 3.0-rc7 in Kernel:HEAD soon? Because rc6 without ca5c485f55d326d9a23e4badd05890148aa53f74 and friends is pretty bad on USB after resume... And since USB is no longer a module, I cannot just rebuild the driver with a fix... the joy of monolithic kernels! :-)
Also note that rc6 completely breaks some 64bit systems see, https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705085 combined with the fact that zypper now removes running kernel by default when doing a kernel update this results in an unbootable machine with no old kernel around.
Regards.
I did not experience any unexpected kernel uninstalls and I just installed 3.0 a few hours ago. Do you this in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf? multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) Note: I happened to install via Yast, so maybe there is a zypper only bug I didn't hit.
