Hi there,
Are there anyone using KDE3 on openSUSE Leap 42.2? Is it works? I found KDE3 repository[1] however I could not find 1-click install button on KDE3 wiki[2].

Thank you, koga
Yes,
Fresh install yesterday. Only trick is you have to remember to select
kdebase3-workspace kdebase3-sessions
(somewhere there are broken dependencies that do not pull those packages in automatically)
If you fail to select the packages, you will experience kded startup failures as well as problems with kicker, etc..
If you install kdm and want to launch kde from kdm, you need to use yast sysconfig editor and set the default WindowManager to 'kdm3' and the default DisplayManager to 'kde'. You will then get kdm on boot and can choose kde, icewm, etc.. desktop sessions to launch
You set DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm3" and DEFAULT_WM="kde" with # yast2 sysconfig (or just launch the yast gui and choose sysconfig) You can also just set those values in: /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager -- David C.
