Oh, what about Kdm ? LightDm could help a lot. Some features are missing but I'm sure that for a lot of people is more than enough..
Hi Daniele,
I wish that it would be a simple replacement, but currently it isn't. LightDM is still not really playing good with systemd and things are moving slowly upstream. As soon as LightDM is in the right state, the openSUSE KDE community team definitely want to make LightDM an installable choice for people instead of KDM. I am not sure if we want to make LightDM the default and KDM a possible replacement.
Hi, first step, make it easy to try ! Does not appear under yast sysconfig editor so you need to type "lightdm" for $DISPLAYMANAGER. Installed on my old nootebook and it seems working well.. What we miss without full sistemd support ?
