As part of the group from the community involved in KDE for openSUSE, personally I feel that reverting to 4.9.5 would be a *major* step backwards, and a maintenance hell (I'd have to redo a lot of patches that I pushed upstream, just to name one problem).
So it's IMO much better to go with 4.10. As far as I know we already have 4,10 as target for 12.3... At the moment I do not know of any bug that is a stopper, please share if any...

I've been running 12.2 with 4.10Rc's on real hardware. It is a very polished release so far with no major issues for me. Kmail2 seems improved as well. I've also got it running on a Factory VM without issues. I think reverting to 4.9.x would be definitely a regression.
