[04-12-12 05:16]: I notice that kdelibs4 has support for upnp media streaming disabled. This done by a flag saying kdelibs4 is not gplv3 compatible, which blocks the herqq-devel (aka hupnp) dependency needed by KDE for upnp support. I assume this is referring to LGPLv3, the license of the herqq (hupnp) library that is disabled. Being unfamiliar with copyright law, I was wondering what is still preventing this and what could be done to rectify the situation.
upnp is available via minidlna with kdelibs4-4.8.1 https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?project=home:buschmann23&package=minidlna
I am able to stream music/video to/from my computer and atrix android phone. I did not try files.
That sounds useful, any chance of submitting it to an official repo like multimedia:libs? -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
