Nope, that didn't work, the version in KDE:Qt is 4.8.0 while KDE in 4.8 seems to want 4.7.2. Any hints anyone?
I'm not sure what you mean. I have Release:48 installed, with qt 4.8.0, and qt 4.8.0 is shipped both in Release:48 and in KDE:Qt.
I don't see qt 4.7.2 anywhere at all. 12.1 shipped with 4.7.4. Are you building for something older?
I shouldn't be.
Look at:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=openSUSE%3ATumbleweed%3A
Testing and see all of the packages looking for a different version of libqt. What did I do wrong?
It looks like you've forgotten to include libqca2 into your project, so it pulls in the one from 12.1, which requires qt 4.7.4. I'd say you need to rebuild it as well, so you get a libqca2 built against qt 4.8.0
Thanks, I'll go include it.
But how is this working in KDE:Release:48? That library is not in that repo from what I can tell.
Hi Greg, Please see https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=libqt4&project=KDE%3ARelease%3A48 , there has _aggregate and libqca2 was in the list, so it will pull from KDE:Qt, therefore you can not saw that library in packages list of KR48 IIRC.
