one of our Box-Support-Clients had an Question.
He wrote, that he can access the Floppy via Desktop or konqueror. But now he says, that it is not possible in the openSUSE 11.2.
Is another Way to do this?
Since I am prolly the only person in the world who still has a floppy drive - - other than this guy - I dug up an old floppy to try it. If I click on the "Floppy Drive" entry in the Dolphin Places panel, it doesn't seem to work, but actually the floppy gets mounted to /media/disk/ - I just seem to have to go to the location manually. The floppy drive entry in sysinfo:/ doesn't seem to be of any use at all. Of course he could also just do things the reliable old fashioned way and 'mount /dev/fd0 /some/folder/for/ancient/relics/'. You should prolly suggest that he move his data to more reliable and contemporary media :-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
