and STABLE as 4.3.4 ?
KKFD is the development repo for KDE "next openSUSE". It's waiting to move to KDE 4.4 beta1 shortly. This decision was announced as part of the last meeting minutes.
I'm ok with this, just a big surprise, that it doesn't contain firstly package going to STABLE. Otherwise, how can we pre-test them ? Are them used one days, or we just spend our contributing time for nothing.
In a normal process dev, it was supposed ( factory -> stable , but perharps only in my mind :-)
Factory is for next openSUSE, currently 11.3 STABLE is for "testing"/building patches for current openSUSE - currently 11.2. It's completely logical that 4.3.4 online updates for 11.2 are "tested" in STABLE repo, before they're released. Again, STABLE = official packages+online updates (released and *un*released). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
