We remove them if the openSUSE translator thinks Folder is better.
Even though in this case, it looks like a simple bug:

msgid "Folder"
msgstr "Ordner"

Hi all,
I stumbled over the problem that on a german openSuse 10.3 setup, the
poupmenu on any directory view to create a new folder still mentions
the _english_ name "Folder" whereby everywhere else (konqueror menus,
properties, etc.) the german translation "Ordner" is used.
Checking for the reason, I found inside the "inode/directory.desktop"
file that most of the translations are commented with
#SUSE-Overwrite Comment
and the file also contains the line
X-SuSE-translate=true
My question: what is the reason for removing translations ?
We remove them if the openSUSE translator thinks Folder is better.
