You are right the 7174 creates the kernel module without a problem. Now Novells Kernel will not let me use it. When I try running "sax2 -m 0=nvidia" the x-server crashes. The error I get is from the kernel "unknow parameter NVreg_DeviceFileUID". Have you any futher ideas. With SuSE 9.2 this was not a problem.
after installation but not after the next reboot, search google for makedevices.sh and complain to the README owner that this hint is still not in the README.
