I've just updated my system to suse 9.1 and konqueror isn't able to run java anymore. The error I'm seeing in the konsole when I try to load a web page that's using java is:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Some problem with the version 5
System error?:: No such file or directory
I have konqueror set to use the java in /usr/lib/java/bin/java but it doesn't seem to find it even though I can go to the directory and execute it e.g. java -version and get:
java version "1.4.2_03" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_03-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_03-b02, mixed mode)
Is there some other java I should be pointing konqueror to? Is there some permission issue I'm missing? Mozilla 1.6 runs the java web pages without difficulty. Grateful for any pointers. Thanks.

Geoff, I'm still with 9.0, but running KDE 3.2.2 and my Konq is pointing to the java in /usr/lib/java/jre/bin/java. That is the default that was setup on install of 9.0 for me, I haven't changed that.
