September 2002 12:46 An: suse-kde@suse.com Betreff: [suse-kde] Update Query After installing all the RPM's to upgrade KDE to 3.0.3 (using the base packages install, as recommended at http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/private/download/linuks/i386/update_for_7_1/bas e.html). Everything seems to have installed OK (apart from an OpenSSL issue, now fixed) but now I'm unsure how to actually USE KDE3. When I boot up to the login screen, there is no KDE3 option in the "session type" box. I can manually run KDE3 from within KDE2, but KDE2 (obviously) doesn't like it and kicks up a fuss. I'm running SuSE 7.1 Pro - this is a virgin install. Thanks anyone / everyone ...
