I'm not sure what you've tried to do here, but to log in on the kdm running on
oden remotely from tor, first log in on tor in text mode and start x with

X -query oden

If you have many xdmcp servers you can use

X -broadcast

to get a list you can choose from. The chooser built into kdm has been
disabled for some unknown reason, so you can't use the local kdm on tor to
get to kdm on oden. AFAIK you have to use the method above.
