Hi,
I've spoken with upstream and the generated files by flex and lemon
(being lemon the issue, since we don't have it) will be included in
the next release (in a way like SQLite amalgamation).
So there won't be also any hacks. The program is maintained and a
GTK3+ port is on the TODO list.
On my test repo, I've also enable Fedora builds and it's today on
Fedora Planet, and I know some of the folks there were looking for it
:)

When the next source tarball is released, I will push it to G:A.

Hi all,
I've packaged gpick at the request of a former openSUSE member. Since this application is based on the GTK+ toolkit I would believe the best option was to make it available in Factory through GNOME:Apps, that cool? We want to do this?
I think if the application is maintained, builds without hacks which have been required for the last 3 years and somebody wants / needs it (which is apparently the case: you got a request for it), then I think we should not get stopped by it (Legal requirements of course aside: I assume that is pre-verified).
GNOME:Apps seems like a good fit for it.
