[opensuse-gnome] gpick - a featured advanced color picker...
Hi all, I've packaged gpick at the request of a former openSUSE member. Since this application is based on the GTK+ toolkit I would believe the best option was to make it available in Factory through GNOME:Apps, that cool? We want to do this? I've made a test packages (not ready for submission, waiting for upstream to clear out a few things regarding 2 missing files) available on home:ketheriel:gpick[1]. If anyone working with artwork or design wants to give them a test ride, feel free to. I've also enabled builds for Fedora since they don't have this package available and I know Mizmo made a tutorial some time ago about how to install this package... Just burning some time. I think if the application is maintained, builds without hacks which have been required for the last 3 years and somebody wants / needs it (which is apparently the case: you got a request for it), then I think we should not get stopped by it (Legal requirements of course aside: I assume that is pre-verified). GNOME:Apps seems like a good fit for it. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Hi,
I've spoken with upstream and the generated files by flex and lemon
(being lemon the issue, since we don't have it) will be included in
the next release (in a way like SQLite amalgamation).
So there won't be also any hacks. The program is maintained and a
GTK3+ port is on the TODO list.
On my test repo, I've also enable Fedora builds and it's today on
Fedora Planet, and I know some of the folks there were looking for it
:)

When the next source tarball is released, I will push it to G:A.
