tl;dr 42.2 Beta 3 is on the mirrors, get it from http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.2/iso/
What is the recommended way of upgrading a system from a previous beta of 42.2 to this beta?
zypper dup
Should recommend reboot, the kernel was changed. But it doesn't:
... Running: xorg-x11-fonts-7.6-32.18-reconfigure-fonts (xorg-x11-fonts, /var/adm/update-scripts)[done] There are some running programs that might use files deleted by recent upgrade. You may wish to check and restart some of them. Run 'zypper ps -s' to list these programs. linux-qyxj:~ #
Same issue here after a zypper dup from Beta 2 +Plasma. In YaST I can see that kernel installed is 4.4.22-1 version, but If I check that with uname -a or Kinfo that showed the 4.4.21-2 http://susepaste.org/14248742 And yes I reboot many times! :) I miss something? -- ------------------- GPG Key: 0xcc742e8dc9b7e22a Aprende a proteger la privacidad de tu correo: https://emailselfdefense.fsf.org/es/ Mi blog sobre openSUSE, GNU/Linux y software libre: https://victorhckinthefreeworld.wordpress.com/
