I use beta versions of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird on Windows, to help with testing etc.
I would like to do the same on SuSE Tumbleweed. I cannot find any repos containing the rpms, so I downloaded the versions from the Mozilla web site.
Beta Firefox installation was a breeze, and I am able to use it on Tumbleweed just fine with no issues (other than product issues since this is Beta, which are issues I am seeking anyways).
Beta Thunderbird though shows no scroll bars at all nor scroll arrows in the scroll region of the window. This does not happen on Windows. I suspect this is a Tumbleweed/XFCE issue and not a Thunderbird issue, since I see many references to these types of issues on Linux distros. However, I not been able to find a fix. Would anyone know the fix or what direction I should be looking in?
Thank you in advance for your help,

If your not using the default gnome3 (gtk) theme that could be the cause of the issues. The gnome devs broke theme compatibility again recently and it could be related to that. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adeliade Australia, UTC+9:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
