ps: graphics driver on desktop is nVidia
And is the driver fully working, including GLX/OpenGL?
Well, I reinstall it whenever Tw gets large updates or updates to graphic system. I have noticed no display problems.
You're problem really sound like broken OpenGL support or something like that.
What does "glxinfo | grep render" say? (you might need to install Mesa-demo-x first to get any output)
