the recent changes to the openSUSE stable releases have removed all the reasons why I have been using and contributing to openSUSE for the last five and a half years. Since neither the new planned SLE-based releases nor Factory suit my needs and likely those of many other desktop users, I will no longer be involved with openSUSE.
Sad to read that.
Anyway, as XFCE user, I'm interested in keeping it working to some extent at least.
Could you please add me as maintainer to X11:xfce and X11:xfce:Next, so that I can try to keep stuff building and do the occasional update when upstream releases new versions?
Best regards, and thanks for all your work on making the openSUSE XFCE experience a great one.
Yes, it's a pity that we lose the really good maintainer for my favorite desktop. Feel free to add me to X11:xfce* project maintainer, too, as I'm also willing to keep them working. thanks, Takashi

P.S.: this should not stop anyone from stepping up for maintaining the XFCE components / packages, I just want to make sure that an "OBS XFCE Project maintainer" is around and able to accept / commit changes. -- Stefan Seyfried
