Compared to Yum, URPMI & (AFAIK) Apt-Get, Zypper is quite the junior.
This is not true, zypp is today the most complete package manager in the linux world, none of the other alternatives match it. YUM is deprecated.. its successor called DNF adopts parts of the SUSE package manager stack.. for unknown reasons redhat decided to only takes parts of it, which is a a level of stupid that can only be the product of the mind of some manager or bureaucrat. it boggles the mind of anyone slightly aware of the effort it takes to make things work. -- Cristian "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody." -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
