I get to sound output on 12.3b1 KDE setup test shows output on pavumeter but there is no sound. volume is set to 100% and not muted. systemctl says sound card loaded/active: 82801AA AC'97 Audio Controller
set vlc backend, was gstreamer. no difference
don't know where else to look
tks,
I had problems with sound - a second or two's delay on attention warnings, followed on a later update by no sound at all - so resorted to my usual trick and disabled PulseAudio. Logged off and on and the sound worked fine. No saying whether that will work with your hardware but it might be worth a try. -- Graham Davis, Bracknell, Berks. openSUSE 12.3-B1 (64-bit); KDE 4.9.98; AMD Phenom II X2 550 Processor; Video: nVidia GeForce 210 (using nouveau driver); Sound: ATI SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA); Wireless: BCM4306 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
