Hello,
There is a new package, libumberlog, a library for logging: http://algernon.github.com/libumberlog/ As right now it is mostly used from /etc/ld.so.preload, also during boot, I put it to /lib. Now I got a submitrequest to move it to /usr. In my understanding it's safer to leave it in /lib, as apps could fail if /usr is not available for some reason. Should I still accept the sr?
Please accept it, the initrd should take care that /usr is mounted, we're not adding new stuff to /lib anymore.
