I wonder how such behavior could make its way into release:

It makes impression that openSUSE is an unprofessional product with bugs in 
anywhere, even when conduncting 
simplies operations with zypper. The bug was introduced with transition from 
11.4 to 12.1.

I have one openSUSE user to whom I help to use and maintain the system but this 
bug is the reason why I still di not
upgrade their system to 12.1 Once they bsee such theings they will immediately 
think openSUSE is extremy buggy and not production-ready.
