Hi!
It seems that in addition to different look of GTK, Qt3, Qt4 applications, in Factory we will face different look of GTK2 and GTK3 apps.
Looks like some applications (like Yast and Gnome) are build with GTK3, while others (thunar, xfce) are built with GTK2 which makes them look inconsistently in mixed environment. Some utilities such as nvidia-settings ate GTK2-only.
It seems introduction of GTK3 is another step further from desktop unification towards a bazaar of different toolkits.
It's not a matter of GTK3 but rather due to the fact that noone has created a unified GTK2/3 theme for openSUSE. Even Adwaita is inconsistent since its GTK2 variant is simply Clearlooks. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
