Do not know if it worth as showstopper, but MIDI does not work by defaultMIDI? that's the what the kids used before MP3 was invented, no?

If it affects 11.3 and 11.4, it can't be a show stopper for 12.1 - by
definition.
MIDI is what professional musicians still use. It's what lots of music
for lots of movies is made of (when it's not a real orchestra).
And I agree, it cannot be a showstopper if it's a long standing issue,
but it *would* be nice to fix if the problem has been identified
already.
