create more input traffic than output, so it's not worth it. Factory repos change too often, so it's not so interesting to mirror admins.
is it of any use to have low bandwith mirror? I have got a new server with 100Mb symetric bandwith and 1TB hard drive that will have a nearly zero load, could it be usefull to setup a mirror there?
I can't judge really. It highly depends on your bandwith to rsync.opensuse.org
Greetings, Stephan
Ok I will not double the effort if jdd can sync but I've a 1Gbps symetric to internet on my server. Now Stephan, can we have the number of place used to sync it with one number for whole stack and how much is download.opensuse.org/ /repositoires /repositories:/home I've an estimation, but concrete numbers would be nice. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Ambassador GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
