I wanted to install ckermit on openSuSE 11.2 RC1. It doesn't seen to exist

Is there a specific reason to drop this package?

The reason was that I though there were no living users anymore :). If
you use it, are you willing to maintain it? I think there aren't many
other users, so bugs about functionality should be rare, if any. You
might occasionally get a bugreport about coding errors from David
Binderman, but that's all.

I use it all the time. If no one else will step up. I will maintain it.
I have to use it with a few of my clients and their POS software. It
currently is the only means that their POS SW allows to work with their
accounting SW. My BS account is gerberb.

Boyd, Joop,

whoever wants to maintain it, just copy openSUSE:Dropped/ckermit and
submit to Factory. Or even better, find a suitable devel project to host
the package, submit there and from there submit to Factory.
