Still this is something we would like to address in the future.

While it is not possible to have them fully running in parallel, we can
improve the ZYpp lock to allow read-only operations in parallel.

There is already some code started in this direction:

However pieces like ZYpp's RepoManager needs to be adapted to have a fine
grained lock.
