I can't resize the display of a Gnome guest in VirtualBox. I'm stuck with a small 800x600 (or 640x480) window. Other than changing the host settings, does someone know of a way to adjust this?

try as root in guest : sax2 -m 0=vboxvideo are you using live cd ? if yes which build ?
You also need to install the "guest additions" for the higher res screens AFAIK.
if you are using openSUSE live CD as guest, you don't need install "guest additions", xorg modules for high res (and other features) are in xorg-x11-driver-virtualbox-ose and this package is already on live CD by default, you only need to have proper xorg.conf, which you could handle by "sax2 -m 0=vboxvideo" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
