Carlos, you really don't have a clue.

Oh yes, I do... It's you who don't have any, I'm afraid. We only have
to read this thread to have proof :-P

In your mind Carlos....in your mind.

In more minds then just Carlos' I'm afraid Fred. Businesses that want
stability should not be using a bleeding edge version of linux like
openSUSE, they should be using the much more stable and longer supported
SLES or SLED business versions.

Quite right, businesses usually have a slow upgrade cycle, so if 10.3 works, it will be good for quite a while, perhaps for years after support has ended. I am sure there are businesses out there still using 8.0 that are not yet ready to make the jump as what they have "does the biz" and when they enter the long think cycle, they'll install on one box and test all their vital applications way before any though of deployment rears its head - that's the professional approach. I don't see why this is an openSUSE issue for one moment. I have had issues which I have had dealt with on other lists - uvc driver, m5602 camera driver and NVidia driver for development kernels. So by the time the kernel is released, those problems are a dead issue.
Let's say I wanted dazuko on openSUSE 11.0 or 11.1 Alpha for that matter, I'd walk my mouse and fingers right over to the dazuko mailing list and have that/those issues resolved there, their mailing list is pretty active. I also see "this or that doesn't work on openSUSE 1x.y" postings on other lists that quite rightly never appear on this one.
Better that than suddenly finding the software doesn't work with the latest greatest and having nothing other to contribute to the code but criticism.
BTW, I couldn't find Fred's posting to the dazuko list, "couldn't find == absent".
Regards
Sid.
