I don't have anything cordless installed, but I have both KDE3 and KDE4 
installed on all 5 x86_64 (including 2 laptops) and 1 x86 box. Keyboards 
are either PS/2 or USB attached. All upgraded to 11.0-RC1 and not 
experiencing any problems with these configurations.
Ideally it would be great if you had a second box networked where you 
could send pings, ssh, etc. to find out if the box is still alive but 
without those devices not functioning.
Don't know if that will releive the need for more head scratching.
