I don't have anything cordless installed, but I have both KDE3 and KDE4 installed on all 5 x86_64 (including 2 laptops) and 1 x86 box. Keyboards are either PS/2 or USB attached. All upgraded to 11.0-RC1 and not experiencing any problems with these configurations.
Ideally it would be great if you had a second box networked where you could send pings, ssh, etc. to find out if the box is still alive but without those devices not functioning.
Don't know if that will releive the need for more head scratching.

Does anyone have both KDE4 and KDE3 installed on the same system?
If you do, does your keyboard and mouse (in my case cordless, optical,
Logitec) lock up - ie, simply freeze up - after 1 minute after login and
the only way out is the big Red Button?
BTW, before and after I installed KDE3 the system was upgraded with some
190 upgrades by YaST2 Online upgrade.
(I had KDE4 installed then decided to install KDE3. Everything worked OK
(except that I had no sound - see another thread) while the system was
running. However, when I shut down and booted up the
following day (today) the keyboard/mouse problem kicked in.)
Ciao.
