You will have to re-configure all printers, see the release notes from 
10.2 (IIRC).

I don't know if there are major changes in sane, but at least I'm using 
the same config in 10.3 that I used for years ;-)


In general, you should check the release notes of the distributions you 
skip (10.2, 10.3) and those from 11.0 of course.

"Old" release notes are available via
