If you are able to make a *.sel and a list of files that you want to use, then it is very easy. 1) makeSUSEdvd -i (with the CD's you need) 2) Edit control.xml, add your *.sel file and delete everything you don't need. (1) 3) makeSUSEdvd -C I can however imagine that the need for that is also reduced, because SUSE now has a 1CD installation, although without KDE.
