Bugzilla responses

What is the correct procedure if a bug is posted into bugzilla? I put in a bug and after a while it will be assigned. What must be done if you see that nothing is happening? e.g. 144614, 144620, 144616 and 144615 are open for a while. I don't want to nag in bugzilla and don't want to flood the people that are assigned to it wasting time with answeringmy stupid mails while they work on something more important.
