The kmp packages can be made available as a package installation source that can be put on a media.
As I understand, they won't be put on suse.ftp or opensuse.ftp and thus won't be available on e.g. CD 6. Is that correct, or am I wrong?
Correct in the case of non-GPL drivers - but e.g. AVM or any developer could make their own CD and ship it with their products like they do for Windows. Now we only need a stable kernel ABI ;-( Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
