But subsequently informal info from Agere was that there was some slow down.
One could guess that the slow down in the US economony has diverted
attention from developing Linux non-profit software.
But no definitive information.

Lucent 11C1:048C 11C1:048E 11C1:048F are AMR soft modems for which
Agere Systems is currently coding Linux support. While not having a firm
date, support will likely be available in a few months, and will be
announced on this List
MarvS
How many months do you think take support be available. Do you suggest me
exchange this modem for other?.
Thanks.

Sorry, I wanted write "in the 1ST-read say the supported range is 0x044c to
0x045c". Otherwise I already compiled and instaled the
ltmodem-8.22a5.tar.gz driver, and I can communicate to modem through
minicom, but when I'm going dial, the response is NO DIAL-TONE, and in
/proc/interrupts no set the modem irq.
Thanks.

the question is, ?Is this modem supported with ltmodem-8.22a5.tar.gz

Because in the 1ST-Read say the supported range is 0x044c to 0x048c.
You mean supported range 0x0440 0x045C , of course, and you are in range.

Subject: RE: [suse-linux-s] LT Winmodem
Alguna idea?? estoy haciendo algo mal?? Con respecto a /dev/ttyS14 que
onda??Esta bien??
Gracias
