Gracias
Leo

But subsequently informal info from Agere was that there was some slow down. One could guess that the slow down in the US economony has diverted attention from developing Linux non-profit software.
But no definitive information.

Sorry, I wanted write "in the 1ST-read say the supported range is 0x044c to 0x045c". Otherwise I already compiled and instaled the ltmodem-8.22a5.tar.gz driver, and I can communicate to modem through minicom, but when I'm going dial, the response is NO DIAL-TONE, and in /proc/interrupts no set the modem irq. Thanks.

You mean supported range 0x0440 0x045C , of course, and you are in range.

A mi no me anduvo.
