Found a few links to close combat 3, (much better methinks) lol. I have also found references to crocodile clips 3, which is even less useful, I think it stands for community connect 3. It seems as part of this it uses IIS for web services, (yuk) which I guess that means it runs on Doze, (when are RM going to move to the 21st century and offer Linux), do they not realise that Gartner don't recommend IIS, and that over 50% of the worlds web servers run Apache I think. ) Paul -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-linux-uk-schools-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-linux-uk-schools-help@suse.com Hello, RM = Reasearch Machines CC3 = Community Connect version 3 CC3 is based on Win XP. It gives us headaches because it insists on using Windows' own MSI installer, not Install Shield as used by 99% of software. It gives schools headaches because in order to make everything pupil proof it is damn near teacher proof too. Rumour has it that log-in times are a nightmare, but RM deny this.
